Halle Berry Was Never Asked To Cameo As Storm In Deadpool & Wolverine

Deadpool & Wolverine has a multiverse storyline and numerous characters appear in the film in small cameo roles, but Halle Berry did not come back to play her X-Men character, Storm. The Oscar-winner said in an interview that she would have considered it–but she was never asked. This story contains spoilers for Deadpool & Wolverine.

Speaking to ComicBook, Berry said it was Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively, who bumped into Berry at a fashion show and asked, “Would you ever be in my husband’s movie as Storm?'”

Berry replied, “‘Yeah, if he asked me,’ but he never asked me.”

Berry played Storm alongside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in a handful of X-Men movies. Another actor from the early X-Men films, Patrick Stewart, was rumored to have a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine as Charles Xavier, but it didn’t happen. Director Shawn Levy said he never considered Stewart coming back.

Some of the characters who returned for Deadp…

Half-Life 1 Has Been Remade As A Top-Down Roguelike

Half-Life 1 is one of the best first-person shooters ever made, and its fan community is still going strong nearly 25 years after its release. A developer who goes by PinkyDev has recreated the original Half-Life as an isometric twin-stick shooter, and the developer says that Valve has given its permission to put the fan-game on Steam.

Originally titled Half-Life Loop (now called Codename Loop to prevent confusion), the premise of the game is that G-Man has trapped series hero Gordon Freeman in an infinite loop of challenges to test his mettle. Though the original idea was to make a Half-Life roguelike, PinkyDev says that they’re now focusing on creating linear campaigns for the mod.

Jonathan Nolan Compares Making Fallout To Making Batman

Amazon Prime Video’s adaptation of the long-running Fallout video game franchise arrives in April, with a stellar cast that includes Yellowjackets standout Ella Purnell and character actor Walton Goggins.

While the Fallout TV show doesn’t take its narrative from any particular installment of the franchise, the story will focus on the world at large. That decision allowed more freedom and has led executive producer Jonathan Nolan and the show’s team to tell their own distinctive story in this world that fans can still easily recognize as the world of Fallout.

“From the first conversation with Todd [Howard, game director of Fallout 3 and 4, and executive producer on the show] we were most excited about an original story,” Nolan tells Total Film.

Nolan then makes a comparison of using mythos to tell a focused story by saying working on Batman is very similar to nailing down the right story for the world of Fallout.

“Fallout, in my career, is closest to the work …

In House Of The Dragon, The Targaryens Have Peaked And Are About To Crash To The Ground

When Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon debuts on HBO Max on August 21, viewers will be reintroduced to the Targaryen family. However, this will be a far-different group of Targaryen’s than the two (technically three) members we saw in Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones fans know Daenerys and Rhaegar Targaryen (we’re leaving out the third member for this discussion), when the family was at their lowest point. “The Mad King” Aerys had been killed by Jaime Lannister, and the Targaryens were hunted down with Rhaegar and Elia being murdered, along with their children Rhaenry and Aegon. So what are the Targaryens like in House of the Dragon?

King's Quest Chapter 2- Rubble Without a Cause Review

Maybe the expansive and challenging first chapter spoiled me, but the second installment in the revived King’s Quest series from The Odd Gentlemen left me cold. Rubble Without a Cause, the follow-up to last summer’s fantastic A Knight to Remember, provides three or four hours of gameplay, and routine quests that act as gears to crank the plot forward. You do get more of the same beautiful visuals and quality voice acting headlined by Christopher Lloyd, but also an oddly cruel storyline that feels out of place for the series.

That said, Rubble Without a Cause sure can be charming. This chapter continues with the saccharine Saturday-morning-cartoon vibe that made its predecessor so compelling, with broadly drawn characters reminiscent of something that a TV network might have aired in the 1980s when the original King’s Quest games got their start. As with the first chapter in this planned five-part saga, these new tales–recounted by an elderly King Gra…

Call Of Duty- Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Review – Just Like Old Times

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s story picks up three years after the events of 2019’s rebooted Modern Warfare. Captain Price’s iconic Task Force 141 is now fully assembled and, of course, another threat of global terrorism has emerged. Fresh new mechanics, more flexibility in how you complete missions, and a host of callbacks to the original series make Modern Warfare 2’s campaign feel satisfying despite an increase in difficulty.

This rebooted version of Task Force 141 features Price and the familiar faces of Simon “Ghost” Riley, Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, and John “Soap” MacTavish. However, Modern Warfare 2 introduces a new ally with Colonel Alejandro Vargas of the Mexican Special Forces. While this is a different story than 2009’s Modern Warfare 2, it does reintroduce General Shepherd from the original campaign. Modern Warfare 2019’s Kate Laswell and the PMC group known as Shadow Company all make a return as well.
